Coast Vancouver Airport Hotel
Everything about the Coast Vancouver Airport Hotel is designed to make life that bit easier. Getting there is an absolute dawdle, and staying there is even better. Even Fido will find the Coast Hotel an easy-living experience. How many times, after all, is the family pet allowed to go with the family on vacation? At the Coast Vancouver Hotel, no one is left out.
Start with the free airport shuttle service that runs 24 hours a day. No matter when your flight lands, it’s simply a matter of picking up the courtesy shuttle telephone located just outside the baggage hall, and within minutes, you’ll be whisked the short journey to the hotel. The shuttle will also provide a complimentary return trip to the airport at the end of your stay. Once you’ve settled in to your room and had a chance to relax and maybe grab a bite to eat, you’ll find the Coast Vancouver Hotel is also conveniently located on a bus route, and is just a minute or so away from the Canada Line rail station, so getting to any of the area’s features and attractions is so—there’s that word again—easy. So much to see, so much to do
The Vancouver area is well known for its abundance of diverse cultural and sporting attractions, as well as spectacular scenery and wildlife, practically on the city’s doorstep. To list them all would be well nigh impossible, but there are one or two that you may not have heard of, and will definitely want to put on your next “to do” list when visiting the area.
The Queen Elizabeth Park is an absolute treasure trove of horticultural delights, but it offers so much more than the stunning floral displays, ornamental trees and shrubs, and pristine public gardens. Also located within its sprawling grounds are sporting facilities including a golf course, tennis courts and lawn bowling. The park’s Quarry Garden is an ever-changing wonderland of colour, and there’s an indoor floral conservatory as well. All these delights and more are on offer, and yet the park sits practically in the centre of Vancouver City.
Visiting in the summer? Don’t miss the Granville Island Farmers Market at Triangle Square, which runs every Thursday from early June to mid-October. Field fresh, local produce, from apples to cherries to potatoes to just about any fruit and veg you can think of are on sale from the men and women who grow them from seed to table. Delicious cheeses and freshly baked goods are on offer; it’s worth the visit just to experience the beautiful aromas that fill the market!
